Ardbeg Dolce is the 2026 Ardbeg Day release from Ardbeg on Islay, a single malt bottled at 47.8% in a 70cl bottle.
It brings together whisky matured in casks that once held sweet Sicilian Marsala Dolce and Ardbeg matured in classic bourbon casks, setting Mediterranean sweetness against the peat smoke the distillery is known for.
The nose offers apricot, raisins, orange marmalade and stewed apple with peat smoke. The palate is full and rich, with dark chocolate, dried fruit, roasted nuts, honeycomb and spice. The finish is long, with smoked applewood, salty notes, warm spices and lingering peat.
