Ardbeg Dolce is a 2026 limited edition Islay single malt bottled at 47.8%, inspired by the golden age of Italian cinema in the 1960s.
It matured in Sicilian Marsala wine casks alongside ex-bourbon casks. The Marsala adds a sweet softness to Ardbeg's medicinal smoke and salty character.
The nose opens with charred driftwood and medicinal peat over candied fruit, raisins, mint and thyme. The palate is oily, with dark chocolate, overripe banana and spiced plums, balanced by earthy, salty tar. The finish lingers with charcoal, burnt orange peel and a hint of chilli dark chocolate.
