Ardbeg Dolce is the 2026 limited edition released for Ardbeg Day on 30 May 2026. It carries no age statement and matured in a combination of rare Marsala Dolce casks from Sicily and American bourbon casks.
The nose is smoky, with apricot, juicy raisins, sticky dates, tart apple compote and orange marmalade. A little water brings out earthier notes of roasted mushrooms, pine needles, salted fish, capers and olives. The palate is led by cinnamon, star anise and liquorice, with maple-smoked wood, baked dates with walnuts, honeycomb and dark chocolate, then dried fruit, lemon zest and salted nuts. The finish is long, with smoked apple wood, drying tobacco, campfire embers and thick peat oil.
