Ardbeg Drum is the first Ardbeg whisky to have been finished in rum casks. This is the Committee Release, bottled at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then moved to casks that had previously held rum from the Americas. The classic savoury smoke of Ardbeg's spirit meets the bright, fruity notes from the rum casks.
