Galileo is a distillery bottling from Ardbeg on Islay, made from whisky distilled in 1999 and bottled on 12 June 2012. It was matured in Marsala casks and ex-bourbon casks, and is non-chill-filtered.
The release ran to 15,000 bottles at 49% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Ardbeg whisky is typically marked by strong smoke and peat, with a citrus note running through it.
