Ardbeg – Grooves Committee Release (70cl)

Ardbeg Grooves is a heavily peated Islay single malt, released for the Ardbeg Committee as a limited edition. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in heavily charred red wine casks, which give it a cask-driven character alongside the tarry peat smoke. The charring adds depth and a subtle savoury sweetness. It is typically described as having dense smoke with dark berries, roasted coffee, spice and coastal salinity.
