Heavy Vapours is a Committee Release single malt from Ardbeg, the Islay distillery. It asks what Ardbeg would taste like without the influence of its purifier, and the result is described as the most full-blown Ardbeg yet.
The character is pungent and earthy. Dark chocolate and sharp peppermint come first, followed by aniseed and powdery cinnamon, with the tang of menthol lingering.
