Ardbeg Kildalton is an Islay single malt released by the distillery and bottled in 2013, at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Kildalton is the name given to a very lightly peated spirit that Ardbeg first made as an experiment.
This edition is a vatting of Ardbeg matured in bourbon casks and in first fill and refill sherry casks. It keeps a lighter phenolic profile than the standard core range.
It is described as a big, tarry, chewy Ardbeg with many classic qualities.
