Ardbeg Perpetuum is an Islay single malt made as a special edition for the 200th anniversary of the Ardbeg distillery. It was released during Fèis Ìle in 2015 and created by Dr Bill Lumsden.
The whisky was matured in bourbon and sherry casks and is bottled at 47.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its colour is a bright straw gold.
The nose is salty with a pleasant light smoke. The palate opens salty, with smoke and sea salt together. The finish is long, with a sweet aftertaste.
