Ardbeg Ten is a 10 year old single malt bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill-filtered. It is a heavily peated, smoky whisky in which the peat leaves room for the natural sweetness of the malt. It was named World Whisky of the Year in 2008.
The nose combines smoky fruit, lime and lemon, dark chocolate, black pepper, tar and graphite, with bacon and baked pineapple. The palate is peaty with citrus, cinnamon caramel, then coffee, liquorice root and tarry smoke. The finish is long and smoky, with espresso, aniseed and toasted almonds.

Smoky fruit, lemon and lime, waxy dark chocolate, menthol, black pepper, tar and graphite; with water, sea spray, beeswax and pine, toasted vanilla and cinnamon
Crackling peat with lemon and lime, black pepper, cinnamon caramel, buttermilk, ripe banana, cappuccino and toasted marshmallow, then espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke
