Ardbeg – Trudernish 15 Years Old (70cl, 48.8%)

Ardbeg Trudernish 15 Years Old is an Islay single malt from the Ardbeg distillery, bottled at 48.8% abv in a 70cl bottle. It pairs Ardbeg's smoky, maritime character with the depth that comes from fifteen years of maturation. The nose is led by intense peat smoke with salty, maritime tones, lemon peel, vanilla and sweet malt. On the palate the smoke is layered with citrus and malt, vanilla, honey and dark fruit, then pepper and a subtle saltiness. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with lingering peat, citrus and spice.
