Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt bottled by the distillery in a 70cl bottle, with sherry casks contributing to its character.
The nose combines strong Islay smoke with warm, fruity sherry-cask notes, while pale oak and seaweed contrast with sweet vanilla and lime. On the palate jammy sherry notes of dates, raisins and redcurrants are carried by intense, maritime peat smoke and a pleasing oiliness.
The finish is very long, with earthy peat smoke, liquorice and sherry lingering.
