Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt bottled at 54.2% ABV. It pairs the distillery's classic deep peat smoke with the juicy, sweet, raisined notes that come from sherry cask maturation, and it is a blend of different Ardbeg expressions.
The nose is heavy and full, with smoky aromas of Christmas cake, walnut oil, fresh sea spray, toffee and chocolate-covered raisins. The palate is rich and oily, balancing sweet, spicy and smoky notes, with an opening sweetness of Christmas cake and honey-glazed ham that deepens into campfire smoke.
