Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a five-year-old Islay single malt and the youngest Ardbeg the distillery has made. It is a permanent addition to the Ultimate range, bottled at 47.4% in a 70cl bottle without chill filtering. It was matured in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose combines cracked black pepper, juicy pine resin and sharp smoke. On the palate come chocolate, creosote and tar, with a savoury, meaty note. The finish is long and salty.
