Ardnamurchan 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Ardnamurchan Distillery and part of its core range. It is bottled at 46.8% in a 70cl bottle, with 16,380 bottles filled.
The spirit is made from 48% peated and 52% unpeated malt, and was matured in bourbon barrels and sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is often described as coconut and oat biscuits, orange peel, salt and bonfire leaves, with strawberry laces and mint. The palate is mouth-coating, with custard creams, vanilla wafer, brine, porridge oats and earthy smoke. The finish is smoky, maritime and warming.
