This Ardnamurchan was distilled in 2016 and matured entirely in bourbon barrels, four of which went into this bottling. It is bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle and was made as a Japan exclusive. The malt is a 50/50 mix of peated and unpeated.
Sweet ash, resin, meringue and peat smoke open on the nose, followed by citrus peel. The palate offers vanilla ice cream, candied citrus peel, honey and lemon, seaweed and Lapsang Souchong tea. The long finish brings leather, tar, anchovies, white pepper, nutmeg and fresh wood spice.
