This is a six-year-old Highland single malt from Ardnamurchan Distillery, selected for The ImpEx Collection. It was matured in a first-fill Oloroso Spanish oak cask and bottled at 58.2% ABV, with 300 bottles produced.
The nose combines salted caramel, burnt orange peel, praline, dates and beef stock. On the palate come hot cocoa, balsamic, salted liquorice and a medley of summer fruit. The finish is long and lingering, with nutmeg.
