A single cask Ardnamurchan single malt, selected by Bartels Whisky for its Highland Laird series. It was distilled on 21 June 2019, matured for seven years in a first-fill bourbon barrel and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 58.3%, in 275 bottles of 70cl.
It is bottled without colouring or chill-filtration. The bourbon barrel brings vanilla and sweet confectionery notes, with light smoke and a salty, maritime side.
The nose shows light citrus and green fruit with honey, vanilla, a little salt and a hint of smoke. The palate is creamy, with vanilla fudge and toffee, apple and pear, and dry oak. The long finish joins vanilla and oak with bourbon sweetness and a trace of citrus.
