Ardnamurchan – AD/04.21:03 Release No. 3 (46.8%)

Ardnamurchan AD/04.21:03 is the distillery's third single malt release, bottled at 46.8%. It combines peated and unpeated whisky, matured 65% in bourbon casks and 35% in sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The distillery is known for its environmental approach: wood chips from local forests heat the mashing water, spent grain goes to local cattle and the pot ale is spread on nearby fields. The palate is nutty, with tropical fruit, rich sherry, orange and oak.
