This is the first single malt released by Ardnamurchan, a young Highland distillery owned by the independent bottler Adelphi. It was launched in October 2020 as Inaugural Release Batch 1, in a 70cl bottle at 46.8% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 2015 and matured in a mix of 65% ex-bourbon casks and 35% sherry casks. It was bottled on 22 September 2020, and the batch totals 15,978 bottles.
