Ardnamurchan AD/09.22 is a limited cask strength single malt from the Highlands, bottled on 18 August 2022 at 58.4% in a 70cl bottle. The batch was drawn from 50 bourbon casks, 40 of them peated, and the whisky also matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks. It is not chill-filtered and has natural colour. The outturn is 18,000 bottles.
The nose brings summer fruit, chocolate, sea salt, shellfish and peppermint tea. The palate offers fresh ginger, tobacco leaf, well-integrated peat, orange blossom and salted caramel with a good texture. The finish is long and fruity, with light peat.
