This is a cask strength single malt from Ardnamurchan, released as AD/09:23 in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at 58.1% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in 90% bourbon barrels and 10% sherry casks. The spirit is a blend of 87% peated and 13% unpeated distillate.
The nose brings coastal peat smoke, vanilla and bright, tangy citrus zest. On the palate there is maritime peat, ripe orchard fruit, warm oak and a gentle black pepper spice. The finish is long and peaty, with a subtle seaweed saltiness.
