Ardnamurchan AD/10 is a single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery in the Highlands of Scotland.
The nose is openly tropical, with ripe mango, pineapple chunks and plenty of honey, alongside baked banana, brown sugar, figs and wine gums. With time, darker notes of crème caramel, toffee and white chocolate meringue come through.
On the palate the honey carries on, joined by linseed oil, warming spices, gingerbread, fresh pineapple and cedar wood. The texture is oily and waxy, with considerable depth.
