Ardnamurchan – AD Single Malt (20cl, 46.8%)

This is a 20cl bottle of Ardnamurchan AD, a single malt from a remote distillery in the Western Highlands. It is made from an equal share of peated and unpeated malt, matured in 65% ex-bourbon and 35% ex-sherry casks. It is bottled at 46.8%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings toasted marshmallows, minerals, orange oil and popcorn. On the palate come salted popcorn, smores, sea salt, lime cordial, bitter orange and dark chocolate, with a thread of briny, mineral smoke running through.
