Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley is a 7 year old single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery on the west coast of Scotland. It was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2025 at 59.2% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour, in a run of 10,290 bottles.
The whisky is made from Scottish heritage barley varieties, is entirely unpeated and was matured wholly in bourbon casks.
Milk chocolate digestive biscuits, candied cherries and lime liqueur lead the nose, with apricot jam and a hint of grass. The palate is oily, with marzipan, sugared almonds, salted cashews and baked cooking apples. The finish is oily, rich and balanced, of medium length.
