Ardnamurchan Heritage Barley is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from 100% unpeated Golden Promise malted barley and bottled at 59.2% ABV. It is un-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured exclusively in ex-American bourbon barrels from 2018.
The nose brings milk chocolate digestive biscuits, glace cherries, lime cordial, marzipan and apricot jam. The palate is oily and chewable, with sugared almonds, salted cashews, orange polenta cake and baked apples. The finish is medium in length, with soft orchard fruit, sweet nuttiness and espresso.
