Ardnamurchan Madeira Cask Release 2025 is a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2018. The spirit is roughly 57% unpeated and 43% peated.
It was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for over two years in Madeira wine casks. The whisky is bottled with its natural colour and without chill filtration.
The nose brings cocoa powder, stewed plums, sugared almonds and warm nutmeg. The palate is layered, with cinnamon candy, salted trail mix, dark chocolate, toffee apple and fresh rosemary, held in place by gentle, piney peat smoke and a touch of maritime minerality.
