Ardnamurchan Rum Cask Release is a Highland single malt from the Ardnamurchan distillery, bottled in 2023 at 55% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The spirit was distilled in 2016 and 2017 and matured in bourbon casks and Jamaican rum casks, for around six years. Only 8,334 bottles were released.
The nose brings cut grass, peat smoke, charred pineapple, salted caramel and aromatic spice. The palate has banana cake, orange oil, earthy peat, pepper and ginger cake. The finish is tropical and smoky.
