This is a single malt from Ardnamurchan, the distillery on Scotland's west coast, finished for two and a half years in Jamaican rum casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery is run by Adelphi Distillery Ltd. and uses a hydroelectric generator and biomass boilers.
The nose is tropical, with freshly baked bread and a little cinnamon. The palate brings citrus oils, smoky earth and ginger, and the finish is long and smoky.
