Ardnamurchan Sauternes Cask is a 2025 release single malt, bottled at 50% abv. It was aged in ex-bourbon casks and then re-racked into ex-Sauternes barriques.
On the nose there are lime leaf, lemon balm, shortbread and hay bales, with pineapple upside-down cake, desiccated coconut and crème de pêche behind. The palate brings nutmeg, dried ginger, orange blossom water, smoked manuka honey, lemon meringue pie and salted cashew nuts. The finish is spicy, punchy and bright.
