This is a single malt from Ardnamurchan, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle in 2024 as the distillery's Sherry Cask Release. It brings together whisky matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, using both peated and unpeated distillates. The outturn is 13,998 bottles.
The distillery sits on the peninsula north of the Isle of Mull, on the shore of Loch Sunart.
On the nose there is mint, beach bonfire, salted peanut ice cream and sun-dried tomatoes. The palate runs to tar, smoky bacon, peanut brittle and chocolate, and the finish brings sea salt, chimney smoke and tobacco.
