This is a single cask Ardnamurchan whisky from 2018, bottled at 58.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is seven years old and matured in ex-bourbon casks.
It is made from Golden Promise, a historic Scottish barley variety known for giving whisky a full, oily texture and a pronounced sweet, malty character.
The palate shows salted cashews, orange and a pleasant touch of pepper. The finish is full, with sweet and fruity notes.
