This is batch AD/10.22:04 of Ardnamurchan single malt, from the Highland distillery founded in 2014 on the Ardnamurchan peninsula and owned by Adelphi Distillery Ltd. It is bottled at 46.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in 65% ex-bourbon casks and 35% sherry casks, and is made from equal parts peated and unpeated malt.
The nose brings summer berry cake with apples, lemon meringue and salted caramel. The palate is full-bodied, with pecan and vanilla ice cream, maritime notes, toffee and beach-fire smoke.
