This is Ardnamurchan The Midgie Batch 3, a Highland single malt bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release pays tribute to the Highland midge.
It brings together peated and unpeated spirit matured in a mix of tawny and ruby Port casks, alongside a vatting of unpeated malt matured in bourbon casks.
The result is a single malt with layers of brambly fruit, baked custard and smoky salinity.
