This is a 15 year old French single malt from Armorik, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition.
The whisky spent 9 years in bourbon casks, followed by a further 6 years in oloroso sherry casks.
On the nose it is rich and intense, with ripe mango and passion fruit, rancio and varnished wood, then peach, honey, caramel and dried apricot. The palate opens on ripe pear and banana, moving to honeyed candy and exotic fruit with clove and cinnamon. The finish is long and warm, between spicy and lightly smoky, ending on peach jam.
