Armorik Single Cask is a Breton single malt, selected by The Nectar and matured for nine and a half years in a Palo Cortado cask, a fortified wine from Andalusia. It is bottled at 48.4%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose opens with honey and candied melon, then moves to balsamic notes, roasted hazelnuts and vanilla. The palate starts with fresh melon and turns sweet, with sour candy, honey, liquorice and bitter orange. The finish is slightly dry, with dried apricot and a hint of smoke.
