Armorik Yeun Elez Jobic Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Armorik Yeun Elez is a peated Breton single malt whisky, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from malted barley from Scotland peated to 50ppm. The name comes from an old peat bog in the heart of the Natural Park of Armorique, a place tied to many Breton legends. One of them, Tadic Coz, is pictured on the pack. The nose is medicinal peat, with camphor and cloves, alongside banana, cooked peaches and cream pastry. Smoke rounds out the palate, with citrus freshness and a hint of salinity. The finish is lingering, iodised and spicy, ending in a warm wood fire.
