Arran 10 Years Barley 2025 is the first bottling in the Arran Barley series. It is distilled from barley grown at Bellevue Farm on the Isle of Arran, and released in a limited run of 18,000 bottles at 50% ABV.
Maturation was in first fill bourbon barrels and second fill sherry hogsheads.
The nose shows malt, citrus, ripe apple, vanilla and light spice. The palate has an oily texture, with malt and oak forward, then citrus, vanilla, apple, ginger biscuits and pepper. The finish is medium long, leaning on spice, with touches of tea and aniseed.
