This is a 10 year old single malt from the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50%. Batch 1 of Arran Barley is the first Arran whisky made with barley grown entirely on the island itself.
It was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and second-fill sherry hogsheads, and the release is limited to 18,000 bottles worldwide.
It is described as having ripe fruit, vanilla, restrained spice and a soft malt base, with a natural sweetness and a lively structure.
