Arran – Port Cask Finish (50%)

Arran Port Cask Finish is a single malt from Isle of Arran Distillers, bottled at 50% ABV as part of the distillery's Cask Finish series. The whisky spent about eight years in American oak before moving into casks that had held port from a Douro producer. The second maturation is watched closely, so that the sweetness of the port casks sits in balance with the natural Arran character. The result is a sweet dram with notes of dark fruit and berries.
