A single malt from Arran on the Isle of Arran, in a new batch of its Port Cask Finish. It was matured for 8 years in an oak cask, then finished in a former port cask, and is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers cinnamon and baked apples. The palate has vanilla, a hint of citrus, dried fruit and nuts; with a little water, mandarin, caramel and honey appear. The finish brings spice, orange, chocolate and red fruit.
