Arran – Sherry Cask (70cl)

A single malt from Arran, matured entirely in ex-sherry casks and bottled at cask strength. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The bottling returns to the style of some of the earliest Arran single malts, which were matured mainly in sherry casks. The casks were chosen with producers in Jerez, and the whisky shows layers of spice, sweetness and oak. The nose is toffee, sweet spices and fruit. On the palate there are ripe fig and cherries, and the finish brings dark chocolate, mandarin and ripe figs.
