Arran Signature Series Edition 4 Sherry Serenade is a nine year old unpeated single malt from the Lochranza distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the fourth and final edition of the Signature Series, selected and signed by distillery manager Stewart Bowman. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The whisky was matured in first-fill Oloroso hogsheads, together with Pedro Ximénez and Amontillado sherry casks. 13,971 bottles were released worldwide. The nose brings dried figs, dates, dark raisins, roasted nuts, leather, orange peel and cocoa. The palate is full and velvety, with molasses, toffee and cherries in chocolate, plus walnuts and espresso. The finish is long, with molasses, toasted oak and caramelised orange.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
