Highland Park The Dark 17 Years Old is a single malt matured in European sherry casks, bottled at 52.9% ABV. It is the first release in a new Highland Park series, following Valhalla and Fire & Ice.
The name comes from autumn and winter on Orkney, a time to enjoy the rewards of the summer's work, to reflect and to celebrate life.
It is described as having rich notes of nuts, dried fruit and spice, with a distinct smoky peat flavour.
