Highland Park 18 Years Old Viking Pride is an Orkney single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured mainly in sherry casks of European oak, with a careful balance between first-fill and refill casks.
After eighteen years the smoke on the nose has almost faded, giving way to sweet, fruity and floral notes. On the palate, it is worth rolling the whisky slowly around the mouth and noticing the tingling along the sides of the tongue.
