Arran – Single Malt Sauternes Cask Finish (50%)

This is an Arran single malt finished in Sauternes casks. The whisky spends its first eight years in Bourbon casks before moving into used Sauternes casks, which previously held the sweet French dessert wine. The wine casks add delicate, sweet notes to the Arran character. It is bottled at 50% with no added colour and without chill-filtration. Tasting notes describe golden fruits, pineapple, mango and papaya alongside malty tones and the citrus note Arran is known for.
