Artist Collective Spray Stoz 3 Art Benrinnes 11 Year Old 2010 (70cl, 48%)

A Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, distilled in 2010 and aged for 11 years before bottling at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon and refill sherry butts, and it is non-chill filtered and natural in colour. La Maison du Whisky selected it for its Artist Collective line, in which each release is paired with a custom contemporary label. This one carries artwork by Spray Stoz 3 Art. The nose is fresh, with ripe pear, sweet barley and floral honey. The palate is malty and sweet, with candied lemon peel, soft oak and a little ginger spice. The finish is clean and medium-long, with vanilla, white pepper and green apple skin.
