This is a 14 year old Irish single malt from Athru, named after Knocknarea Mountain in County Sligo. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey was aged in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in sherry casks.
The nose and palate bring honey, vanilla, dried fruits and toasted oak, with a hint of spice and a subtle smokiness. The texture is smooth and creamy, and the finish is long.
