This is a 10-year-old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, distilled in 2013 and bottled by Old Particular at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a refill barrel, and 298 bottles were produced. It is non-chill-filtered.
Auchentoshan was founded in 1825 on the outskirts of Glasgow by Irish refugees, and its whisky is triple distilled.
The nose is clean and floral, with fresh peach, manuka honey and cream. Warm spices give way to a citric tang and candy sweetness on the palate. The long, sweet finish brings peppermint, candy floss and late floral notes.
