Auchentoshan – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Auchentoshan 12 Year Old is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, triple distilled and matured for over 12 years. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Triple distillation gives it a light, delicate character, while maturation brings notes of toasted nuts, caramel and citrus. The nose combines crème brûlée, toasted almonds, citrus and fresh green notes. The palate is smooth and gently sweet, with tangerine, lime, caramelised toffee and vanilla. The finish is lightly gingery and slightly dry, with lingering nuttiness.
